Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Earlier today, we posted a photo on Instagram with Monarch Playing Cards - featured this summer in Now You See Me. This week, we announced that theory11 produced the iTunes Exclusive special features for the film - check 'em out now only in iTunes. The photo we posted on Instagram was labelled "Monarchs in Hand" - and that inspired this contest tonight.

For this week's contest, your challenge is simple: post an image on Instagram holding your favorite deck of playing cards. If you don't currently have Instagram onto your iOS or Android device, you can download it free. If you can't get it for whatever reason, just upload your picture via Twitter. Either way, use the hashtag #theory11 so we can easily find your photo!

Post your photo on Instagram, and then post the link in response to THIS forum thread on or before 7:30pm EST tomorrow, Sunday, September 8th. You have 24 hours to make it happen. All pictures must be posted during the contest period (starting now) - any old photos do not qualify! After time is up, we will go through all submissions and decide on a winner. Limit two submissions per member. The winner will be selected by our judging panel based on the best overall photo: composition, background, focus, and creativity count.

What can you win this week? 1,000 Elite Member Points and a deck of our ultra-rare Rarebit Playing Cards - sold out last week in 16 hours flat. Excited to see all of your entries! Good luck!
  2. Does the deck have to be in the box like your photo?
  3. Nope - whatever you'd like! The only rule is that the deck must be in your hands (holding the deck). What you do with the deck is entirely up to you.
  4. How do you post a link?
  5. The easiest way is to view your Instagram profile online ( for example) - then, you can click on the photo and copy and paste the link in response to this forum thread.

For example, here's a photo link to our original inspiration:
  6. Can it be something like a table riffle shuffle - just asking because the deck is not entirely in
    my hand...

  8. As long as you are holding the deck in some way, it counts! So yes, you can do that! :)
  9. Q1. Can we fan the cards?
Q2. Can it be gimmick deck like invisible deck?
