I think most of us were just suprised, like myself, but I can't speak for everyone.

Um....I for one am finishing my double degree in University....and going through applications at the moment, so I know about patience...my post was more of a joke.
I look forward to the Saturday Night Contest all week, so waiting one more day is no biggie.
What I would like, is to have some sort of rating of the entries...like a top 5 or something. As far as I can remember, there was only 1 contest where they mentioned the top 2 or 3 entries, and I think both entries won something. I'm not asking that they give prizes to the top 2/3/4/5 etc.... but at least some sort of recognition to the runners up.
I guess I'm just ranting. I'm a bit tired.

Gee. Thanx so much! I must admit. I didn't write this. It was a friend of mine who is AMAZING at writing lyrics and songs. VERY glad you liked it!
Okay, I can wait one more day. Some of these are absolute genius. I mean, these guys could be comedy writers. Maybe.

I was dumb enough to write a serious song, and not a comedic one, except for one joke that I'm unhappy about, and maybe I should take it off, but it did rhyme and fit in though.
I think they should just put together a random beat, and have William Hung screaming "CONTROL!!!" at the top of his lungs over and over again for 3 minutes......i'd jam to it.

To anyone that is doubting whether or not Wayne and Dana are really recording this in one take... I just called Wayne to ask how it turned out. His answer? They haven't started yet. One hour and 15 minutes to go. They haven't started yet. This will be interesting... coming at 11pm EST...
