Show Openers

So I have a show planned out but I'm struggling to get a good opener, weather it be a self appearance or something that'll set the tone for the show which I know only I can set. But I am wondering, what openers do you guys use for your shows, just looking for ideas an inspiration

Take something short an visuell. I guess you are not doing a lot of shows. So take a routine that works 100% and you are very comftable with. Best... one to laugh. If the audience like you the rest is easy. I can not say which trick is good for you. But... funny,short and strong is not wrong... many say your second best trick... I would say a trick that make people laugh or at least smile. Direct to the point. If you are a mentalist... ask somebody else
