Topiting

Hey, I've been looking into getting a topit fitted along with purchasing a topiting dvd. Only problem is that I've read that if you get one maker's topit, you can't use another maker's dvd. With this in mind, which topits + dvds are regarded the best by people? Any recommendations would be great. If possible, could you also give a reason why as it will possibly aid my choice. Thanks very much.

Michael Ammar and Carl Cloutier are the masters of topiting..any topit material from them is the best to go with, Jay Scott Berrys system is great as well, any of those are awsome

Edit: Let me rephrase this: Could I buy J.S.Berry's Topits and Pockets dvd and without purchasing anything else (well, fabric and thread etc obviously), make a topit? Or would I have to buy the super set to be able to use any of this? Just wondering...
