some may find this offensive but it has to be said...
Does it really?

its sickening how people get so sad over every person who dies that is somewhat known.
he sold have garbage products during comercials of the french porn movie your watching at 3am.
I wasn't aware we were rating deaths based on how important we judged the people to be. I'll remember that next time some close family dies. Hell, they're not even "somewhat known," shouldn't matter at all to me, right?
The age-range of this forum is really showing.
And, wow, it's "sickening" that some people are getting sad that a fellow human being died? And according to your logic, had Billy Mays been more famous - been a singer, like Michael Jackson, was more relevant in pop culture - THEN it's okay to care?
It's about general compassion and empathy for people who have to go through this. No, none of us personally knew Billy Mays. Were he still alive, he wouldn't be in our thoughts right now. But the man is dead, and his family is grieving. Someone lost a father, a husband, and a son, and that is a horrible thing. No one's asking you to cry a river about it, or even give your sympathies. But please act like a
human being and understand what people are going through right now, regardless of who he was.
