Put it this way. Is it easy to do? I wouldn't say so. It doesn't have lots of sleights, it doesn't have things to remember. But you have to realise that performing mentalism is different from performing card magic. It's not difficult in the sense of sleights - in this sense most mentalism is a lot easier than card magic. But is it difficult to present? Perhaps. Mentalism requires a very high skill level in terms of performing ability. And to get the best out of any mentalism effect, then yes, it requires skill, and yes, that's difficult. Just not in the traditional way.
