Springing, Sound Reduction

Hey guys! This is actually my first post here on Theroy11, but I figure I would just dive on in. Springing cards is most certainly a 'basic' move that you tend to learn early on--however, it can also be one of the more impressive to your spectator. Here however, lies my issue:

When I spring cards, it sounds like I am... well... *aheam*... "breaking wind". Now, I have seen many other videos where the sound isn't as bad as when I do it--and I was wondering if anyone knew any ways to reduce the horrible sound cards make when they are 'sprung''.

Thoughts?

place your fingers on the corners rather then in the middle of the width of the card. this works for me. hope this helped!
