Perhaps using dirt off the ground will make the reveal visible...but then that kinda defeats the purpose of ashes. Maybe tell a little story that relates to the trick when burning the paper to fill in the akward silence.

What I meant by aluminum is make a generic box, like a "big" or "complete" version of a porper. A thing you buy separate. It would probably cost like $60-70 though. And what I meant by making it out of the card material: Like actually the same material as the cards, finish and all. That might...

Perhaps make it out of the same material as the cards. Now that's thinking outside the box. Or maybe make a aluminum "permanent box" for all types of cards. Like a full-porper that you put any cards into. Maybe use thicker cardboard.... I don't know, just brainstormin'....

This is something I've been thinking about for quite some time now. After so many advances in card quality (stock, finish, etc.) why have 0 improvements been done to the box? I'm so tired of sticking a good deck of cards that I've had for a week into a tattered, peeling, and falling apart card...

I'm sure there are plenty of magicians who started as adults. Starting younger just gets you that much farther ahead. But starting younger doesn't help a whole lot becuase your hands are too small and you're not as smart(hehe). You definately shouldn't quit, if it's something you love, keep at it.

I actually kinda like it. This website is suppossed to be something different, and card tricks are getting old (to me). I like that it is something with a "everyday object" and not just cards.

Oh, sorry. I thought I saw the band use that symbol somewhere before....must be my imagination.

Sometimes I act like I'm making the trick up off the top of my head to heighten the "man this dude has got like powers" factor.:eek:
