chances are, you are simply making a minor mistake that can be fixed easily. the hard part is finding what it is. Try watching the video again, and actually get someone to watch you. for some reason i find that mirrors arent accurate when watching yourself do it.
You can't go wrong with control. Extremely easy, excellent teaching, plus a great place to start and get used to T11. If you are really heavy on cards, then yeah, get dangerous, but if you like other stuff, get control
they used to be really cheap, but they stopped printing them a while ago, so now there are very few. therefore they are expensive. they are supposed to be very thin, but stiff, which is really nice
I think its ok if you quit because becoming a great flourisher. in MOST cases, not all, requires that you do pretty much all flourishing. there are exceptions like the bucks, but how many dan and daves are there out there
I believe that you should change your patter with every audience. Talk to them for a minute before you start to perform. Then analyze how you should present the effect to them specifically. This will take time and lots of performances to get that skill down cold.
well, for angle zero, you can pretend to burn the ripped corner, except have a piece of tissue palmed, so that you can show the flames. then proceed to do the reveal.
