    Solid Card books/DVDs

Hey guys, I haven't really made any purchases in a while. (Don't worry this isn't a tell me what to buy thread. Well not completely.) I'm just looking for suggestions from you guys for solid, multiple effect card DVDs/books. Just to add some new stuff to my repertoire, non gimmicked stuff...

    Dai Vernon

I would go with either Inner Card Trilogy or Ultimate secrets of card magic. Well, depending on your skill level i guess. Only because beyond the notes on erdnase, which you can get for free, the only other stuff is the expert gambling moves, I don't know how you feel about gambling moves or if...

Do you think this is real? Or is it a stooge?

Okay guys, I, in my humble opinion, think he either used a stooge or there was an edit out of that particular video that cut down the whole sequence. I have read a write up on the Stevens Cull and seen the cull taught in Fast company, and worked on it for some time, and I know Steve Forte is an...

    Riffle Stacking Correction Techniques

Hey Jason, Thanks again for being so kind about my original question and posting the rest of these. I do a second pretty well so both shuffling and dealing solutions can work equally well for me. Thank you for taking the time to type up all this for us, it really shows how the staff on this...

    Jason England's Bottom Deal Demo

No I don't believe he did. I mean not to expose any secrets but I think he showed both his hands empty, so it must be the idea described above.

Instant Switch - A variation of the Simpler switch

Not catching it with the thumb really doesn't make this a variation. You just don't do the last part of the move.

    Clown Control

Honestly, I like the idea, but the movement looks pretty suspicious. Not to say that I could come up with anything better.

    Eric Jones Lecture

I have been to an Eric Jones lecture and it was absolutely a quality one. He has very good teaching and throws in both cards and coins so people can learn a little of everything. He does do some coin magic, because he has really good coin magic lol, but he definitely does some fantastic card...

    Expanded shell problems

MY shell only seems to work with coins that have smooth edges ( i mean kennedy halves btw). If i ever use coins with the normal coin edges, they get stuck in shell and i have to pry them out. Luckily this has never happened to me in a routine. Is there anyway to deal with this? any tips? Because...

    Performing in a Classroom :: Ideas/Advice

Honestly, the angles aren't as hard as you think if you just use audience management and proper positioning. I did a routine with the clipshift in there, as well as a tenkai palm, and got away with it. Just use your direction well and keep focused. Position yourself at one of the corners of the...

    Muscle pass applications

Hey everybody, anyone know any good sources for applications of the muscle pass as a sleight? I have mostly only seen it as a display kind of thing by magicians like Jay Noblezada and Dan Whatkins. But I have seen some applications for it in Cultural Xchange for productions, vanishes and...
