my advice would be to send a message to some of the professional magicians on this site. They will have a better idea of its originality then any of us.

I think magic gives you great people skills overall. A great example of this is Jim Snack. He became a public speaker who fuses magic into his seminars. I had the honor of meeting him and learning from him.
