There are a lot of great effects that can be done over the phone. You should definitely check out Juan Tamariz's book, Verbal Magic. Also look into Bob Kohler's Prime Cut. That is an over the phone card trick which i love.

My biggest concern with this trick is the amount of times this can be performed with the materials provided. As you all know getting refills can become painfully expensive. Does anyone own this or know any more details?
