    T.c.t.c.s.a.

I like it. It's like a warm-up for Pandora, plus it's uber fun to do every now-and-then. It has a flashy look to it when done with style and speed since a deck is suddenly broken into 3 packets, spun and a spin closer. The spin at the end is a bit knacky but it's not like a little practice hurt...

    What's this cut called?

Kind of reminds me of the X-Cuts, but I doubt they are. Someone, correct me please

    Prophet help

You could ALSO change paper into money. That'd probably compensate for your small bills. People would surely react to paper changing even into 1's, it just seems impossible with paper. Just my 2 (why's it always 2? :P) cents.

Does Daniel Madison talk when he teaches?

LETHAL only has Madison doing the moves step-by-step. It's a slow-mo of all the flourishes but it is not digitally slowed down unlike The System.

What are good tricks to perform in a room with 15 people?

Yeah, that's true but I don't have enough time to order any material that offers rope magic and such since everything I order takes about 1-2 months to get here >_< and my ToK Oral is on the 10th of May.

What are good tricks to perform in a room with 15 people?

Awesome thanks. I was thinking of French Kiss, but there might be a time where after exams, one of my awesome teachers is organizing a BBQ at his place, so doing French Kiss and tricks like that would be better. Also where could I learn the Invisible Palm? I've seen Houchin do it in Control...

What are good tricks to perform in a room with 15 people?

Ok, well in the near future I have my ToK orals and I've decided to talk about something in magic BUT I'm going to do several tricks to get the audience's attention. I was thinking of doing a simple "sandwich between jokers" effect, then doing a 4-5 step ACR BUT I want to know what you guys...

Anyone here actually met a professional magician?

I haven't met these "Pros" you see on Ellusionist, T11 and stuff, but when I was in Paris on a school trip I met a magician called Guillaume, from Animagie. He was such a cool guy. Simple moves that made my entire school group go "OMG!!". It was good, we had a pretty cool convo after that...

    No zip code?

Try the N/A thing, if not talk to the T11 crew, usually you get a reply pretty soon AND, its great to see the kind of love we have in this topic :P.

    These gimmicked tricks...

SAW can be easily done at home. It doesn't really cost a lot so it's reletively easy to find and then follow the steps in the DVD. I'm not sure about the others since I don't have those effects.

    Tech Deck fingerboard

I like Darkstar, Flip or as stated above: Blind. World Industries is sorta iffy. But Darkstar/BLind would be best :D

    Emotional > Intellectual

That's an interesting idea. It sort of applies to ToK (Theory of Knowledge...IB students will certainly know what I'm talking about) and how emotionally attached one can be to a trick can drastically change their PERCEPTION of the trick. Again, IB students, back me up homies.

Saturday Night Contest: The Secret Life of d+M

    1. "Why did you steal my chocolate covered chipmunks? I loved them so!" 2. "Don't you dare play poker with me again, or I'll stick that "horn" up PLACES *Double snaps*" 3. "I wonder if Jake Gyllenhal practised on his something like this for that scene from BrokeBack Mountain" Have fun all =D...

    Can't flourish...

Lol, thanks, but I'm 16. Almost 17 now, so yeah. Still, the cards don't dance in my hands yet, since I've started the IB diploma and extended essay (some people will know what a B**** both are) so cramming time for flourishing/magic is slightly challenging. But thanks for the awesome words, I...

    Can't flourish...

Most of the advice has been said, but here's my input. About a year ago, I got a deck of cards. Plastic ones from my high school Prom. Back then all I could do was a riffle shuffle. As time went on I started to practise with this plastic deck since the country I live in doesn't have...
