1-on-1 :: Bluff Pass by Wayne Houchin

Just because you don't think it's worth it, doesn't mean I have the same mindset as you. Sure, I know how to do a Bluff Pass already, but I got a few subtleties from Wayne that I hadn't seen before. Really, if you don't have anything good to say, don't say it at all. David

    False Pass 1-on-1

Hey I_KnowMagic. I just posted a review for the Bluff Pass here. Check it out. The move itself is fairly simple, but there are subtleties that make it even more undetectable. David

1-on-1 :: Bluff Pass by Wayne Houchin

Hey guys, just got home about an hour ago from a friend's party, and saw that Wayne had a new 1-on-1 out. Now, I'm very familiar with the Bluff Pass already, but I decided to pick it up anyways, thinking I could possibly learn some new tips from Wayne. Quality The video, of course, is shot...

Sloppy Shuffle Triumph or Simple Triumph?

I prefer Simple Triumph. It's even more visual in my opinion, and it can be easily adapted to be impromptu. David

Damn, here's me thinking these cards haven't been circumcised... :p David

One deck only lasts you 2 months? I've had one deck last me over 6 months, and I'm definitely not a hand washing freak. David

    Creating Tricks

If you're working on a trick for this long without actually performing it, you're going about it in the wrong way. You want to go out and make mistakes in front of a real audience. This lets you know what exactly you need to work on. You can "perfect" a trick in a year or two, but the...

The Inversion Theory - David Misner

Yeah, the review was good. As for Cards, keep that underground (for a couple reasons). It sucked pretty bad, and I'd like not to remember that. Don't worry, I'll have most of that material out sometime soon. David

    New Guy Here

Like everyone else said, cut back on what you are learning. Many new magicians succumb to marketing and buy up as much as they possibly can, but never take the time to master any of their effects. An experienced magician knows to practice an effect until he can't get it wrong, and many new...

    Magicians Force

I good way to do this is to have them touch any 2 cards. If they touch the force card, keep the two they are touching. If not, get rid of them. Then have them choose a last one, and get rid of it if it's not the force card, or keep it if it is. David

    Flourishes by Dan and Dave

If you're looking for a good flourish that is not too difficult, I'd go with either Mecka, Akira, or Eko. Also, you could learn a part of Jackson 5, such as Madonna 3 or Genesis. David

The Inversion Theory - David Misner

Thanks for the review illusionone, and I'm glad you liked the manuscript. Just as a reminder, the video from MJM is of Minority, not FRI. Haha, Cody didn't I ask you to post one like 2 months ago? No hard feelings... David

Thank You Le Paul: Syd Segal, Paul Le Paul

Guys, that's not Syd. Check out his other posts. He's the kid who came up with that Double Quad Helix Riffle thing, and thought it was revolutionary. David

    Unfinished December :: Flourishing

I did do the One Handed Top Palm, so that may have been what you thought was the Clipshift. I wish I could Clipshift that smooth. David

    Which playing cards?

Depends on what you like. I would go for Split Spades (Blue or Black), but they are much more expensive. I haven't used Guardians and Centurions enough to really know which is better, but I know from Centurions that they are extremely durable and feel great. So, go with SS if you have some...
