very true. let me try to rephrase that. Most of the time I can control them to a certain point where they understand that what I'm doing is important and they don't try to figure it out. A lot of times, I get people that say, "Oh my gosh, how did you do that........oh wait, please don't tell...

It all depends on what tricks you do and how you present yourself. If you're doing terrible tricks and present them like David J. Castle, then yeah you're gonna get some bad looks. Before I knew how to present myself I got some bad looks too, everyone thought I was "nerdy" BUT now...

the closest thing of me getting caught becaues of the gimmick(which was actually my fault) was that they thought I had like half the deck instead of the whole deck. but other than that, nope. Never been caught.

I disagree with you. I don't think it has to do with presentation. As Wayne Houchin once says, "It doesn't matter how illogical their method can be; if they have an explanation, it's an explanation." Meaning that it's not the magicians fault, it's the fact that, they are trying to figure it out...

There are several things I do if I don't have anything on me. Such as Stigmata, Control, Disjointed. Or if someone has any rubberbands or a ring or maybe a quarter and a soda/beer. There are many many things you can do.

idk. I learned it from the Trilogy from Dan and Dave. But trust me, it's all about practice. I use to pull down pretty much the whole deck too, and if I didn't, I pull like 2 or 3 cards down. Just keep practicing and you'll get it. :)

haha very true! But even so, I've had it reappear on another spectators belt(not a stooge, just a freaking lots and lots of misdirection) and someone still thought I threw it...... :rolleyes:
