With the former, you're at least gaining real world experience that will aid you in developing your character, routines, etc. One can evaluate where you may have gone wrong based on your audiences reactions and such - then work to fix any issue(s) in future performances. With the latter... well.

Absolutely. In fact, this will more than likely be the case (depending on when your order was shipped).

Definitely pick this one up. The non-acrobatic double is practically the only double lift I use... and the acrobatic version is a blast, once you get it down. Will take a little time and practice - but don't be deterred. Highly recommended.
