Yes that is true. Some of the new cards comming out are just amazing specially when a good flourisher is using them it's like pure art.

Thats where all the hard work and creativity comes in i admire people who come up with some interesting and original i ideas they do not get all the credit that they should.

I personally like when magicians use the very simple effects like david blaine for example doing the ACR and making it completely impossible that is so great. anyway we should just all share! :)
