Card Magic Without a Double Lift

I don´t agree I don´t think you will get better the more different double lifts you do. All of them have the same weakness that exposed you in the first place which is, holding two cards as one. Work on the way you handle the double, don´t rush but keep the double moving, make your double...

    On going Ellusionist/Theory11 comparisons

While browsing the forum for interesting topics I constantly come across people spiting on Elussionist. The Theory 11 is a savor of the art, the Elussionist is the opposite. To me, they are basically the same. First of all, they both want to earn money by selling tricks, moves and custom decks...

    Random about "Trilogy"

Trilogy is by far one of the most exciting magic dvds I own. It´s so fresh and different, it makes you feel like a complete beginner again:) But I do have some questions about the practicality of the magic stuff. It all seems so angly to me. Have you guys tried these things in real life...

    Daniel Garcia For Theory11 Artist!

creative Daniel really is a very creative magician. And if theory11 is on the mission to advance the "art", as they claim" then he really should fit the bill:) I recently purchased Fallen. Really a testament to his creative genius....

    Derren Brown's Smoke

Kennedy Memory deck Is it the effect where a thought of card appears inside Derren´s cigarette? I think it is a easy trick to figure out. Mental force deck like Kennedy´s "mind power deck" and multiple outs principle.

    Which is better?

it is a matter of taste There really is no such thing as a perfect deck of cards. We handle cards differently so what feels good for me may not do so for somebody else. Shadows look very nice to me but I am not a fan of black faced cards. It kind of looks confusing... Centurions from Theory11...

1-on-1 :: Bluff Pass by Wayne Houchin

penguin and stuff I recall reading a post here why one should not learn magic from penguin magic and ellusionist and so on.. Words "cheap", "stolen" where used.. Well to me it feels "cheap" to make money on somebody elses, old, and wellknown move.,,. It´s strange to me that this is Waynes...

Clearing the misconception on the Pass

opinions All right... I mentioned this being philosophical because the whole discussion (correct me if I am wrong) was born from another thread where a guy wanted to know what he was doing wrong with his pass. I feel that often a simple question is turned into academic disscussion. Nothing...

Clearing the misconception on the Pass

God man, thanks for sharing your wisdom. I can tell you have read many magic books. I mean give it up.. you have taken the pass discussion to a philosophers level. You cant seem to get over the fact that I called the pass “ultimate card control”. There is a reason why pass has survived the test...

Classic Pass Question - Not Invisible Pass

word marking... Perfectly executed invisible pass is as close as one can get to a ultimate control. Is that a more correct statement? Yes, there are billions of different controls but no one equals purity of the pass.. And why does every magic discussion end up being philosophical?

Classic Pass Question - Not Invisible Pass

Other controls I do understand the reason for practicing the classic pass. It really is the ultimate card control. But if your pass fails to be deceptive there is no other suggestion then to keep on working on it and use other means of control in your performances. Don´t forget that the pass is...

    RESET by Paul Harris

Michael Ammar You can find Paul`s original handling on one of Michael Ammar´s "Easy to master card miracles". I agree with the previous posts that you should not ignore books as a learning tool. To me, biggest pleasure with magic is exploring the literature...

    Favorite ACR ending?

card at any number I present ACR as demonstration of ability to control a chosen card invisibly. To me, "card at any number" is a suitable ending and very logical one. I think that problem with most ACR endings is lack of logic and consistency with the rest of the routine. "card to impossible...

    Bicycle Guardians or Tally-Ho Vipers?

Centurions Centurions are by far the most beautiful cards I have seen. Telly- ho vipers do look cool but I really can´t get over those black faces. It totally ruins everything I think making it useless for anything but flourishing.
