The T&R Project - full review

Just wanted to say a quick "thanks" for the great review. I have a lot of respect for your thoughts on magic products, seeing your various reviews on the Cafe and elsewhere. Thanks again!

    Reincarnation torn and restored...

Here is a preview video; and here is another performance. Personally, I think this is a great effect, but you have to know what you're getting. With ReinCARDnation, you can't hand the fully restored card out in the end (like in Torn), although you can hand it out when it's 3/4 restored. So...

Are all flourishes taught in silence?

Brian Tudor's Generation Extreme is an example of having verbal teaching for flourishes.

What's so bad about Jay? :(

He's annoying AND he's a good magician. No reason why he can't be both...

    3 TnR's

I would stay away from Unripped (No offense Gared...); the prep time is horrendous, and it ultimately accomplishes no more than Torn does. A friend of mine still curses the day he bought it. Now, between Torn and ReinCARDnation, it really just depends what you're looking for. I would...

    The Queens

Not bad at all! You might want to work on getting your breaks though. A pinkey count would be best; though you could also do a wrist-kill before you push off with the thumb. Thanks for sharing.

    0630 // Daren Yeow

Huron said that the orders to the U.S. wouldn't be here until at least the 18th, possibly even a bit longer depending on where you are in the country. On the other hand, a review of the entire Project has been started in the Reviews section of the forum.

Fire In The Hole : Diary Review, DAY 1

Thanks a lot for doing this Tom; I'm really looking forward to any information you can give on all of the effects on the T&R Project. A few questions: 1) What is the angle range like for FITH? How do the angles compare to other T&Rs out, such as Torn? 2) Can any card in the deck be used to...

    Fusing Point - Wow

There's no way you could hand that card out to the spectator without a switch; they would pull the thing right apart! It does look something like a magnetic card, which was an idea that Steve Dusheck played with years ago.

    Unripped?

Guys, Unripped is not new; it has been around for quite a while now. You should be able to find several reviews for it through a Google search.

    Elevator Effects

The same elevator that is in Futagawa's notes can also be learned on Zenneth Kok's DVD called The Zenneth Code. It's in the effect called "Explosion," which you can see a performance of here.

    TnR (Ultimate)

That thread is here. I really can't believe more people aren't talking about these either, but there have been a lot of T&R routines released over the past few years... Perhaps people just see these as more of the same. To me, they look stellar and entirely unique. I can't wait to receive my...

    Queens Vanish

I don't know why you would keep telling people over and over that you "created" in when you actually learned it from watching a performance of it in a video... But anyway, I do respect you for taking it down; I think that was the right thing to do.

    Queens Vanish

Nicolas, If you still don't get it after three threads worth of discussion (between this and the D&D forums), then I doubt having Jordan say anything further is going to do any good...

    FITH Finally!

The T&R Project - Huron Low EDIT: Well, it looks like the mods immediately moved my post to the thread that no one seems to know exists. Oh well... Perhaps more people will see it now that it's been bumped up. There has already been a thread started on this, but you probably wouldn't...

    TnR by Mathieu Bich Review

That's more of a performance issue, than something that is inherent in the effect itself.

    Nicolas Impossible Top Change

I don't know if "Clip Shift" is the official name, but that is what people know it as. I've also heard it called the Nelson Shift. Either way, it is an unpublished move created by Chad Nelson. A few people do know how to do it, and have shared with others. And as I said, it's the move that...
