Saturday Night Contest - The "Art" of Magic

My illustration skills do not rival Dan White nor Tony Cabral, but this is a fun one! Very excited to see your submissions, whether they're funny or serious. Creativity is the key. Have fun with it.

t11.bulletin - WHAT TO READ with Jason England

One of the more common questions we see posted on this site is about books. What should I ready - when - and why? As a beginner, it's very difficult to figure out which books one should start with. With videos, you are able to watch previews and see what piques your interest. With books, you...

    Invisible Deck longevity

It is absolutely possible to make your own, but between the time spent and money spent, it's often faster and easier to get one professionally made - and save yourself the fumes. When making large runs of invisible decks, we are able to enable processes that keep quality uniform. When you're...

Saturday Night Contest - Demonstration of Erdnase

And the envelope please... Throughout the day today, our panel reviewed each submission and all chimed in with their thoughts. Judging this contest wasn't easy. We had more than a handful of GREAT submissions that demonstrated high technical ability, production value, and obvious acquired skill...

Great submissions! We will be reviewing these submissions tonight and tomorrow and announcing the winner Tuesday night at 11:00pm EST. We will use that time wisely to carefully review each submission and reach a consensus on who will take home the prize. Thanks to everyone for participating, and...

    Smoke questions

Hey guys, be sure you are "using" the cap end of the Sharpie, not the bottom. That may explain the issue you are having. If you are still unclear on how to make it work, or if you believe you may have a defective unit (very rare), no worries - simply contact our support team for assistance.

    theory11 Decks

Compared to regular Bicycle cards, our latest decks will last a good bit longer in most environments and with normal use. Simply put, we maintain high quality control and we are very specific in the ways in which we print our decks. However, as cards are made of just paper, factors such as...

Rising Card iPhone app - iOS4?

Just a quick update - the beta version of this has been completed. I just tested it for the first time on an iPhone 4, and it looks amazing! The resolution is twice the original version, and it's loaded with 5+ new features that make the app substantially more deceptive. Our next step is to test...

Thoughts on New Site / No Wire

Are you using the latest version of Chrome? I believe slow scrolling was a known issue with the previous version of Chrome, but it should be resolved now. It works fine for us in the latest version of Chrome for Mac.

    Most certainly not!

Saturday Night Contest - Demonstration of Erdnase

Videos should be new and made specifically for this contest. No tutorial is necessary as all contents should be directly and faithfully from Erdnase.

Saturday Night Contest - Demonstration of Erdnase

YouTube, Vimeo, Drop.io, or any other popular video sharing site would be fine. Simply upload to those sites and post a link to your video in this forum thread (on or before the deadline). Be sure to give your video plenty of time to upload! Sometimes uploading can take 30 - 60 minutes.

Saturday Night Contest - Demonstration of Erdnase

All contents of the video should be representative of what is contained in Erdnase - which means that we're not looking for variations or creative applications in this contest. Videos should be short - I wouldn't imagine it taking any more than 90 seconds to demonstrate one or several moves.

Saturday Night Contest - Demonstration of Erdnase

As long as the moves come directly from Erdnase, sure. Your video can be of just one move or trick, or multiple moves shown in a montage of sorts. The choice is yours, but everything must be demonstrated exactly as it appears in the book.

Saturday Night Contest - Demonstration of Erdnase

Some food for thought - make a video of yourself properly executing your favorite move. Make a short video demonstrating 3 moves that you are particularly adept at. Make a video of your favorite trick. Anything goes - as long as it is directly from Erdnase. Note that videos should be no more...

Saturday Night Contest - Demonstration of Erdnase

We're looking for move(s) done as they appear in Erdnase, so variations are not desired for this particular contest.

Saturday Night Contest - Demonstration of Erdnase

Tonight we have a very special prize package up for grabs. But before I reveal the prize, let's discuss the contest. Earlier this past week I met up with Bill Kalush, founder of the Conjuring Arts Research Center, executive producer to David Blaine, and notable lover of all things Erdnase...
