    Strongest Mentalism Effects?

::Mentalism:: Wow, Ive read the majority of the posts on here and of course I havent been on in quite awile so I thought I'd chime in. I agree that certain effects apply to a particular individual, as for me I love simple effects that can be made to look like miracles. Sure cards can be used...

    Good Editing Software

August 2009 :: Where Are We Going?

I see magic in general being taken to a diffrent level of creativity that goes far beyond the imagination. As technology grows, so does magic, new doors and oppurtunities shall be unearthed and magic in a way will be re-shaped and re-invisioned. While sticking to our roots and focusing on those...

    Deck Switch

I remember a daily update received in my email discussing the idea of a deck switch and the many methods employed. It stated to not overcomplicate the switch, to make it a natural thing. For instance carry 2 decks with you, a normal everday deck, and a stacked deck, such as the Radar deck and or...

    Let's Talk Magic

Precisley Shane, before me and my mentor became student and teacher, I never realized the potential I really had. Let's Talk Magic

I totally agree Shane, I havent performed much stage work, but have done stand up and walk around performances. I will admit that I can sometimes perform an effect either too quick or too slow. I will always be striving for a balance in my performance and grow from it. Now I am my own worst...

What makes a GOOD opening trick?

Well from my expirences and things that have been taught by my mentor who's been in the magic buisness 30-40 years is it isnt just about the effect, the presentation, or confidence. Its whether people will like you, meaning people including animals can get vibes or sense certain attributes. Of...

    Looking for a move

I assume the cards are in a dealer's grip correct? If so, try using your right hand grip the top card and keep it there to provide cover. At this moment using your left 1st finger buckle the bottom card and briefly hold a pinky break. Next, as you also use your body to move from right to left...

    Are you in?

Hey man I agree with everyone else in which as to come up with some ideas. But for my advice, Id research diffrent palms...sleights...etc. Would it be gimmicked or non-gimmicked? What if the deck is held in dealers grip an with no cover the top card morphs....or during an A.C.R you use a red...
