I completely agree that there should be a refill option. You get a red bicycle box which is fine but the refill should allow you to construct the gimmick into any card box. That would be an outstanding option.

When I think of tricks (or illusions) and actual, purposeful liars I think of the con artist. It's a matter of intent and environment as far as I'm concerned.

Volume 2 is currently out of print. It will almost certainly be reprinted at some point and when it does you will see it for sale at its normal price. Someone else here on the forum said that volume 2 is available as a download for a reasonable price at lybrary.com so you may want to check it...

Wilson's book should be in every serious magic library. Another one that I would recommend that is available for very little is The Amateur Magician's Handbook by Henry Hay. You don't see it discussed very much but it is well written and illustrated and covers a surprising number of topics.

I like the Contraband deck. Very visually pleasing. The Artisans are very nice, as well. The Ellusionist black cards such as the Black Tigers or Shadow Masters are a good choice.

Unless you just happen to know someone who has one they are willing to part with you are in for a long search. I scan ebay for decks frequently and silver Monarchs for sale at any price are exceedingly rare. In my experience, the only T11 decks that are harder to find are original Rarebits...

That is a great performance. Coincidentally, that is almost certainly Gilbert's version of Lavand's "I Can't Do This Any Slower." Not that it is in any way less of an achievement...it is a great performance. And I would be stunned if Penn & Teller didn't know this and were actually fooled. But...
