Try clearing your cache and trying again; may be an issue with the temporary internet files on your PC (or Mac). Let me know if that does the trick. The deck can be examined immediately before and immediately after the effect - they will not find the gimmick. It's VERY hard to detect...

With careful, proper performance, each gimmick should last you MANY, many performances. That said, the 10+ gimmicks you can make with the supplies included should last you quite some time.

Raiker's suggestion works, but I would also recommend buying two of these for use when practicing. In addition to helping you practice Jacob's Ladder, I think they'd look great in your living room.

Regarding playback of theory11 videos - the vids can be saved to a flash drive and played in Quicktime on any PC or Mac (or even iPhone / iPod Touch with proper codec).

This is a change that looks insane, and isn't too difficult at all to master. It's best to practice in front of a video camera or or mirror; the hardest part of this one is getting the motions down smoothly and naturally. Once you have that, it looks crazy.
