Is Magic Headed In The Right Direction?

Yes, with the introduction of newer technology many magicians have subjected their magic to the internet, needless to say something that won't benifit them in "the real world"

    Top Shot : Lennart Green

As someone here said imediately extend your fingers out, this will help the card to travel farther. As well relax a bit. If you are working so hard your fingers are tightened up it will be very difficult to do. With these tips I can shoot the card about a foot-foot/half so it is possible, just...

How many decks do you have ... ?

I have about 50-60, More than half unopened. I also don't see points in having hundreds of cards. I only have this many because I have no magic access (aside from expensive internet shipping) around me in the least. So when I visit the states I stock up then Edit:Actually just checked today...

    Which way would you prefer?

What is the point of performing if you give away the method (I mean this in the nicest way) I would so much rather look like an idiot that reveal.

    Disgrace or Amazingness?

I have seen him and his videos a bit ago and can agree that it isn't real. I think that he is performing for magicians. Using hand movements that simullate a real move though using unmoral methods.

    Dribbling cards while performing...

I think that excessive movements shouldn't be in an effect. Dribbling maybe not so much becaue it isn't such a big deal, but when performing I have done a simple move that accomplishes nothing and people have questioned it. I remember last week I was performing and I wipped a smug off my cards...

    Some thoughts?

Needless to say magic does take time and dedication. If you don't have this your magic will show it. You only get what you put out. There are always the people that will work their hardest on the effects that they learn regardless for what it is. Like wise there will always be people that won't...

    Fast Forward: CoinOne with Cards

Looks good and well performed though Brian Tudor has a routine on Generation Extream that is almost step-by-step the exact same thing, so unfortunately it isn't new.

Include flourish in your card magic...?

I use flourishing to attract attention. If I am in a crowded area, say the mall, when you perform some flourishes than I find that people are interested and want to see more. At this point you can easily perform an effect with their interest.

Tons of performing, Michael Trautman, and a punk magician.

I agree with this, I probably should have thought of this. I don't take an aggresive standpoint with spectators if they do figure out a performance of mine. I use it as constructive critasism. Thanks for posting this, looks like I gotta sharpen my tools.

Tons of performing, Michael Trautman, and a punk magician.

I have had this happen a lot, though in a way not successfully, I shall explain. I perform for some people and they claim to "know how it is done," I find the best way to handle this is to ask them how. They usualy trip over themselves explaining some ridiculous thing that is compleatly...

    Fizzd - Original Triumph

From watching you performance, This does need a lot of practice, by all means if you can misdirect a spectator go for it, this just doesn't seem to be entirely practical, as well I am afraid that this isn't original, there are so many different triumph routines that it is difficult to make an...

    My New Video

Looks good, though try filming in a different location, A background is a huge part to a film and should be chosen well. Other than that good stuff. I think the best move was at :21, good work.
