    Best fork magic

Do you have any invisible elastic thread to make loops? You can make the fork spin.

    Your Influences In Magic

It's hard to narrow it down just to 5, but off the top of my head it would be (in no particular order): 1. Michael Ammar 2. Dai Vernon 3. Daryl Martinez 4. Michael Vincent 5. Paul Harris

Levitation in the center of St. Petersburg

I expected to see you actually levitating xD Nice bait there. But the trick is great, and your style and presentation suits you very well. I am officially a fan. Good job, Roman!

Need a tip for the classic pass.

The best way to perform the pass is under some misdirection. If the audience is burning your hand, they will catch you 9 times out of 10. But if you misdirect them simply by meeting their eyes with yours, you can perform the pass and no one's the wiser. The position of your right hand might be...

Chicago Closer + Deck Switch Gimmick!

I really like this routine, and you perform it beautifully. Really excellent work, Michael!

Want advice on how to talk to people to perform

That's true. Unless you ask for their honest feedback. I have a couple of friends that I always show new tricks to first to get feedback, and I ask for their sincere opinions. Of course, practising in front of magician friends to get pointers and feedback is always a good way to improve.

    Iphone Trick and Trash

Uhhhh... that video aside, it's a good trick. I have used the Card2Phone app, and on some spectators its a killer. But then there are those who are a little more tech savy, and understand that its an app. They are still surprised to find the card all folded up, but know that there is some sort...

    Mermaid Magic!

Wow! For 3 months, that's impressive! My Gf doesn't do magic, but she has this uncanny way of predicting cards almost 90% of the time lol Thanks for sharing!

    Where to go from here?

Practice your technique. Effects mean nothing if your handling is unrefined. You should be putting in hours of practice, and your enjoyment of magic should come from the practice you put in. RealityOne is correct in saying that you should be putting in the effort to look over the material you...

    POKEMON WHAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?!

Just when I thought this forum couldn't get any better :O These ideas are brilliant! I still have some of my Pokemon cards left, and I have a Pokeball that I could use for a reveal. Thanks for sharing this! In the past I used some old Magic the Gathering cards for TnR routines. Because my...

This was hilarious xD Thank you for this!

    Classic effects

Any time. I love interacting with other magicians. It is true that you don't explicitly say how many cards you are using, and having them focus on the colours rather than the number of cards you are using is great misdirection. Taking this into consideration, I think the trick works brilliantly...

Produced the 4 aces... Now what ???

Any "Birds of a Feather" trick works great. If you're a beginner, then try Jazz Aces. Easy, and it's great with lay people. There is also Henry Christ's Fabulous Four Ace trick. And you want to try something that will take a little more practice then the Spelling Collins Aces trick is...

    Classic effects

Well done on both performances. There's just one thing: in your "Oil and Queens" performance you are consistently showing 4 red cards and 4 black, but then at the end you suddenly have a total of 10 cards. This probably will go unnoticed to most spectators but some of the more observant people...

    Four Card control techniques

I have always been a fan of the Dai Vernon multiple shift because it's the spectator that decides where to place his/her card, and the deck is shuffled after each card has been replaced. It's very deceptive. I encourage you to look for Daryl's Encyclopaedia of Card Sleights Vols. 4 and 5 for...
