Same thing could be said about carrying playing cards. Even though no one will say it,carrying around cards is strange. Sounds too much like a street magic line. Since not everyone performs that type of magic and in other forms of performing people are actually expecting the magic,I doubt...

I dont think the same people would be stupid enough to buy another 300 dollar effect(s). then again they are mostly kids... Thats why I dont like to do what everyone else does,a brand new amazing effect comes out and everyone rushes out their wallets as if the DVD/effect is gonna be sold only...

That depends on the instructor on the DVD and how it is produced. Not every DVD is the same quality or taught the same. In the end,buy the effects that you want to perform and it doesnt matter if its on DVD or not. But I dont buy into that bull crap that people are 'visual' learners...

Not every proffesional wants to have T.V. fame like C.A. and Blaine or even an appearance. IF your getting paid to perform at gigs,venues and private parties,you ARE a proffesional.

The argument is helping the people reading to prioritize their purchases in magic. Thats what IM arguing at least. Its helping alot more than most threads around here these days. What else can you say in a thread about when another thing to buy is coming out.
