    Truffle Shuffle?

The thing I don't like about the Heinstein is the way the cards are shuffled. They are shuffled outwards as opposed to inwards like most normal shuffles.

    Your favourite Killer?

Bryn's Seven is amazing however there are a few flaws but it is one of the best. I use my a few different methods of forcing cards which are a combination of ideas, from Quinn, Spelmann, Banachek and Derren.

Do not laugh but there are some really amazing variations of the 21 card tricks.

    Truffle Shuffle?

I personally prefer the grey shuffle by Ben Earl and in Ben's hands it looks better than The Truffle does in Derrick's (in my opinion). The methods are similar and the truffle is great as it it but its nice to take ideas from both.

    Repeating A Trick

Well in your statement, two of the three things reasons for requesting a repeat of trick the spectators feel like they did in fact miss something. With the Blaine comment there is a difference between saying do that again, and when they actually mean it.

    Chair Prediction

There are millions of variations but some that stand out are; Banachek's one from Pre-Thoughts which is essentially is what chair will be left empty. Spelmann has a nice one on the Chapters of Marc Spelmann that requires a little more of a set up but is quite nice. I personally think it...

What's your favorite effect that you perform the most?

I love how the last two effects were not about cards especially how this was written in the card magic forum. My go to effect is a three phase thought of card routine, where I divine the first card. The second card I confer with my 'helper' about the identity and for the final card one...

    The PopChris Project is BACK!

My biggest criticism is that it appeared to be a look at what I can do, more than anyway of relating to your spectator. So essentially it was a web cam performance done live.

    Repeating A Trick

Slow down. This is the biggest piece of advice that I can give to anyone. Most spectators usually only ask for you to repeat a trick if they feel like they missed something. By slowing down they get a clear idea about what is happening and also they feel like you are not doing something...

How would you PRESENT this? A great exercise!

As for the colour changing deck, I would defiantly open with this as I do not want the audience to be accustomed to the colour of the cards for reasons that will become apparent soon. I would start by asking a few questions about lapses in mental concentration and or memory. Give a few...

Does Anyone Recommend Any Luke Jermay Books For Me?

There is a classic line in Corinda that summaries cold reading to the T. It says that someone with no knowledge of the texts that contain cold reading techniques can make a very talented reader. Whilst someone who has read all the books in the world can still make a terrible one. Cold reading...

Does Anyone Recommend Any Luke Jermay Books For Me?

Performance theory and how to get the most out of all your routines. There are 4 effects and a large section on cold reading. However none of them are that advanced interms of method, Paul shows you that you can use simple things key cards, ultra mental decks to create real moments for the...

Does Anyone Recommend Any Luke Jermay Books For Me?

Dee is right Alchemical Tools is probably the one of if not the next level books I have ever read. There is so much life in his writing style that it is actually enjoying to read and not just for the information. The reason this book is not really suited to the beginner is that it will take a...

    Let's Play a Game

These games are fun to play with audiences however I believe you should really look into the more fail safe versions too. Just because you think you know what Derren is doing he not only has years of performance experience of these subjects, he also has presold himself better than anyone...

Does Anyone Recommend Any Luke Jermay Books For Me?

I believe Luke can say it best from his work in Coral Fang (paraphrased). In regard to the burst bubble suggestion, he talks about getting the info written on a billet by either a centre tear or billet switch. I will not tell you how to gain the information as it can be found in 13 steps or...

He means like a presentation similar to one which Derren has done. As he has performed many times on his earlier specials.

ACR Ending - Where can I learn this?

I believe the concept is the Shawn's. He took the idea from somewhere in which a card was selected from a red deck and appeared in a sealed blue deck. It was discussed on the cafe however Shawn reworked some aspects of the method and the gave it a whole new presentation.

    Presentational Ideas #2

Yes I hate a lot of spectator mistakes. I was doing ACAAN and when I asked the spec to think of a number between 1-52 i got told she wanted 76.
