Cards to use on the streets?

What cards would recommend using when you're doing street magic? Regular Tally-Hos or Regular Bikes? In my local magic shop, Tally Hos are cheaper than Bikes, and I'd like to save as much money as possible, but there are a few tricks I'd like to do that involve glueing cards together (I...

What is the best effect on theory11?

Witness and Panic. I don't have Witness, but Douchebag - Witness's "predecessor" (I think the effects are extremely similar?), and it's such a great, hard-hitting, simple effect. And Panic's just plain brilliant.

    Genuine Non Biased PANIC Review

Thanks for the comment :) Yeah, I was surprised at the shipping speed too, when I ordered from Ellusionist once, I paid $20 (£10) for shipping and it came in 4 or 5 days. The Theory11 shipping wasnt far off that, as was less than half the price. I guess speed varies on the time of year...

    The Harada Hold

Thanks for the advice Zack, I'll give it a go =] And you're right about the trick itself, it is brilliant, but it requires hours and hours of practice, every day. If you stop practicing it for say, a week, you'll find that you can no longer do it - you'll be back where you started. Google...

    Genuine Non Biased PANIC Review

The Effect The four kings are taken from a pack of cards, and put into the magician's pocket. The magician spreads the deck towards him, and pushes it back to form a neat pile of cards. He covers this with his hand, and slowly takes it away to reveal four cards. - The four kings, which are...

    ReinCARDnation?

I've got a few questions about ReinCARDnation, to those who own it; 1. Is it COMPLETELY impromptu? 2. Is it difficult? 3. What are the angles like? Can it be done surrounded? Thanks.

    The Harada Hold

For those of you out there who know the Harada Hold, can you please answer me this? Is it just me, or can't you perform the Harada Hold, say, in the morning? I woke up a couple of adays ago, picked up a coin and started a routine (for the hell of it :P), but it just wouldn't work. It wouldn't...

    Invisible Deck Gimmick

I purchased an Invisible Deck from Ellusionist.com It's an amazing trick, I know - but the gimmick that makes it work started to 'faulter' within a week (you'll know what I mean if you have an Invisible Deck) I've found the gimmick on another site and I've a question about applying to the...

What's the name of this trick?

My sister and her fiancee were approached by a magician a couple of weeks ago - he didn't say anything, he just looked them in the eye and started performing a few flourishes and XCM. Then he spread the cards for my sister to choose one, and she did, and she signed it. He did the same to her...
