I have to say that I buy cards often, not everytime, but when I see something different that looks good I'll buy in hopes of some quality...usually not so good... I want to say I have 50+ decks, that's in the last few months, I am glad that I use a lot of different ones for different effects...

yup. also good for and in the hand transposition reveal...i dont know how to justify turning the card to be transformed into with another card, but spectators dont generally ask those sorts of questions.

i think breach will be taught on dangerous it's also in his identity notes (how to make the gimmick is included) I wonder if Dangerous is shipping the breach gimmick or if the DVD is just teaching it. i do an impromptu card through table-not a visual through glass....but it gets the job...

NickSkye pretty much said it all. the mechanics are good-but the flow is off. I'm in the same boat as of right now, can do the moves...just havn't gotten smooth with anything yet... oh well...practice til your hands hurt, shake 'em out and then practice some more.

Royal Road to Card magic is also good starting point. and I second The Expert at the Card Table suggestion. I'm not sure how new you are to cards but there are two 1-on-1's by Aaron Fisher. Card Fundamentals:Volume one and two. They might be of interest if you're just getting into magic...

I believe real magic has existed. Maybe not in the same sense of 'I'm here *poof*' 'Where'd he go?' but our art had to come from something. I really do believe magic, today, is an imitation of something that was once real.

i agree with dejavu...even without patter, make it look like you're in pain. You have to remember that magic doesn't happen by buying an effect. Practice, dedication and performance make it real to an audience, which is what your ultimate goal is-make them question whether it's real or not.

any card control into color change reveal works well usually. i don't own the trilogy, but from the preview video the tricks all seem to fit routine or solo trick slots well. or you could always piece together learned sleights into your own tricks. oh-and not exactly tricks, but...
