    Frozen

It's true, you are risking frostbite. Then again, if you're careful you'll be fine. It's like fire (or even flash paper)...if you mess around with it carelessly, you'll get burned. However, if you handle it with care, you should be fine.

Where to get uncut sheets of gaffed decks.

Isn't that what E charges for their regular custom deck uncut sheets? I'm guessing gaffed deck uncut sheets, given their extremely limited release (as in, not released for sale, only through rare promotions), would fetch a far higher price. Either way, I think uncut sheets look great...and...

    need help finding prop

If you can find two markers that have similar ink cartridges, then you can take one from, say, the dry erase marker and put it in a regular marker, so they match (or vice versa). Not saying it'll guaranteed work, or what brands use similar sized ink cartridges, but it's something to play...

Do you, or someone you know, want to meet Daniel Garcia?

I'm not sure how it works in the US, but an acceptable form of Canadian ID is the new driver's licenses we have here (because they have a lot of upgraded security features). They may have something like that in the US--I know there's more than one way to cross the Canadian/US border, so try...

Where to get uncut sheets of gaffed decks.

I'm pretty sure you have to win a contest in order to get most uncut gaff sheets. Or, look for them on the secondary market (i.e., ebay), as they'll occasionally show up there (but they likely won't be cheap). Good luck on your search! :)

    Anyone seen this?

Can you give a brief description of what I'm supposed to be checking out? For some reason it doesn't want to load for me. At all. o_O

    Legal Questions

Legally, you're fine. The sleights and effects are not copyrighted, or anything like that. As long as you don't treat the book as a word-for-word script, there's nothing to worry about legally. Ethically, the author (if still alive) may take offense you to releasing their book in video...

The Main Event: A True "Astonishment"

The suspense is gunna be killer! Haha. I can't wait to hear who's made it; this has been quite the fun contest thus far! :)

The Main Event: A True "Astonishment"

That really does suck. :( I know the feeling...I've wrote out long posts (for an online class, where our contributions are graded) before, and had computer or internet problems that caused them to be lost. Not a fun experience. Ever since that class, I've always wrote out long answers in Word...

Has anyone seen 'Eco Edition' Cards?

Agreed. For my explanation, I'd refer those who are curious to my post above. :)

Submitted mine. Wow...I've never been limited by the character count in a PM before. I had to shorten my entry by quite a bit, heh.

No, no...it's not trouble. I more than understand how college can be--I'm currently taking a summer course (a full year course, which is 8 months, packed into little over a month), and will be attending university for my final year this upcoming school year. :) I just hope it's no longer due...

Same here. But fear not, if the past is any indicator, then all will be rectified upon his return. He'll likely post the question(s), and move the date to Sunday or Monday or something. :)

    On T.V.

30-45 minutes of original material? Or material that you're securing the rights for (since you can't just perform other peoples effects on the air without their consent)? Either way, that'd be awesome to see! Hopefully you'll be allowed to post it online for us to see. :)

    New to books

Card College has 5 books, if I'm not mistaken. And Art of Astonishment series (3 books) is written by one of the top minds in magic, Paul Harris, and as such it is full of awesome. I can't honestly suggest it enough. :) Aside from AoA, Royal Road and Strong Magic are definitely the way to...
