How Do You End Your ACR?

Since I'm not the biggest fan of gimmicks, I go with either card to mouth or a one-handed colour change of mine, code named The Handjob.

    Favourite cards for cardistry?

De'Vo uses fan back Tallys almost all the time. Tudor is the exception, I agree; but then again, his style is really unique.

    Photo Finish

The effect is awesome, although the first sequence where you get rid of the poker chip was a little bold, and dare I say, obvious? Maybe I'm just flawed with unability to think like a complete layman, though. I also liked the patter, funny how I never saw this effect before, I love Shawn Farquahar.

    How does dynamo do this?

Then he gave the wrong impression when talking about it, my bad. Still, I believe he explains the method on is DVD. Best way to know is to email him, if you're so eager to learn kangsham.

    How does dynamo do this?

This effect was created by Dynamo, I'm pretty sure it can be found on this DVD: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dynamo-Magician-Impossible-Blu-ray/dp/B005NVBUYQ

How to prepare a deck in front of people?

Beans25 idea is good, other than that you won't be disappointed if you decide to learn culling, somebody also mentioned Green's material, but I think he's a little too advanced if you're just a beginner. Btw, welcome to the forums!

    Entertaining 10 year olds

You should also consider some simple rope and rubberband magic. A slipknot, Jacob's Ladder, CMH, etc. are really universal for all ages and aren't very demanding when it comes to presentation. The key is, like somebody already mentioned, be amusing and don't let them fall into a guessing game.

    Favourite cards for cardistry?

When you say "pros", do you mean professional magicians or card manipulators? Magicians tend to use Bicycles, mostly because people are used to them (in the USA, at least), while the manipulators preffer aforementioned Tallys. I'm not saying you can't perform practically all the flourishes you...

    Favourite cards for cardistry?

I don't agree, a card finish is very important for any flourisher, plus not all of the cards are equally firm (Bicycles feel like warm butter compared to Tally-Hos). Somebody said Wynns above, but I don't like them because they don't last long (a little humidity combined with some dirt from...

    Pen Spinning on The Wire?

If there's more that's great, just don't put a 15$ price on it and it should be awesome. So, good luck with your submission!

    A few gambling moves.

I'm also not a gambling expert, but I'll try to comment: The first video started great, but you got a little sloppy near the end. Still, I wouldn't worry too much, since the camera angle was not the most grateful one, and all of those moves probably look much better in person. Related to second...

    Pen Spinning on The Wire?

You've got some skills, although I'm not sure how original all of that material is. Anyways, my advice would be to include a section where you talk about the types of pens to use, because I know a lot of people will be frustrated with failure, when all they have to do is (besides, of course...

    Misdirection for Mercury Card Fold

I didn't saw anyone mentioning this, but another fine point is performing with a little older and relatively worn-out deck. Older cards won't make as much noise when folding and it will take less hand tension to fold them. Even though I agree that the simplest way to get away with it is to ask a...

Learning the muscle pass & it hurts bad

While recovering, think about the muscles in your hand that are healing and growing even thicker, so after they heal you'll be able to practice even longer and become even better until the point at which you'll have to recover again. 7 hours is not too much, you're just devoted and we all know...

Over coming the fear of performing in public.

I agree that you should start with simple, almost self-working effects, as someone stated above, until you build up some confidence. It will feel natural after numerous performances.

Spectacle or substance? how do you perform

He wasn't speaking generally, that wonder, amazement and thought reffer to situations the spectators question the very basics of what they believe in, when they really believe that they just witnessed pure magic, even if just for a moment. I see your point and I also enjoy a good book, piano...

Spectacle or substance? how do you perform

That's THE truth and the main reason I perform. As for the thread question, I usually don't use a pre-learned patter because I like to improvise, both with my technical solutions and presentation. That's probably the case because I don't perform professionally, nor have I ever. I'm studying...

The Blue Crown doesn't have any merchandise.

I'm pretty sure they'll have those clips in stock again, it's just that they are hand-made so the production is probably pretty slow. Just the other day you even had the chance to win one Porper clip of your choice, there was a contest involving some patter creation on The Blue Crown.
