Amazing new Ring Magic and Flourishes :o

Great work! I especially liked the transposition of 2 rings in one hand!

    D&D Website Warning

Virus or no virus, don't you guys have Anti-Viruses? Enabled firewalls (those of you who are on PCs, anyway)? What happened to some of you sucks, but either your Anti-Virus software was outdated or non-existing, since I'm on their site almost every day and although I did get the warning nothing...

    flourish help

I'm not really sure I understand you, to say that you want to improve something you just mastered is a contradictory statement, at least flourishing-wise. Every flourish can be mastered up to a point where you can do it with your eyes closed and at pace per choice, from silky smooth to...

    What got you into magic?

A very enthusiastic friend got me into magic a few years back, showing me some card plots such as the ACR, Sandwich and Haunted Deck. Just like most of the "new generation" of magicians, I discovered Ellusionist, bought some DVDs, one thing lead to another, I found myself buying more material...

    Magic Con 2012 speakers

I too am getting the message and unless they started to sell malicious porn on their site, I don't see a reason why the site would be blacklisted.

    Impossible Disappearing Fingers

When half of your finger disappeared, I thought to myself "well, that looks cool but he just (you turn your hand) HOLY S**T!!!" I have an idea of how it's done, but that idea doesn't really go well with live audiences, so how performable is your method in close-up magic?

    Fiber Optics on Stage

This is one of my favorite rope routines and you performed it very nicely. One thing to keep in mind is the speed at which you perform, specifically, I fell like that part where you took the middle was a little too fast and hard to follow, and that comes from a guy who knows this routine step...

High School is not a great place to practice xcm or do magic, period.

    faro waterfall shuffle

If you can do a classic waterfall, you can pretty much figure out how to do the faro version, just like you can figure out the thumb pirouette if you can do the regular one. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure where you can find the tutorial, except for a few sloppy ones at YouTube. Best of luck!

Saturday Night Roundtable with Steve Cohen

    1. As a professional, do you differentiate the "working week" from the weekends? 2. Which Author/Book influenced you the most? 3. How did you develope your style of performing?

My attempt of Deck in Bottle

It looks very good, although I like the cork better than the metal cap. Still, nicely done!

    Failure

Simple Magic, There's nothing essentially bad in being a perfectionist, minutely analyzing every part of your performance until you find the perfect combination. The thing is, if performed correctly, every move can be perfectly deceptive. Ok, Double Undercut is a little lame, but a few years...

    how to create a flourish

You'll need some basis in the card manipulation already - the more, the merrier. Some people do variations of other flourishes and then combine them together, some will, as already mentioned, "fiddle" with cards and come up with new ideas, some will have the general idea of how the flourish...

What do you think of my video?

Nice video, sure, not everything is as good as it can be, but 2 years is not a whole lot, when you think about the amount of moves you have learned to do perfectly and the amount of moves you have learned to do. Oh and, loosen your grip a little when you do Akira, it will be much easier to...

    Raven

If you're so keen on using a gimmick, but have problems because of the unperfect design, modify it! Just ask yourself how should the gimmick look like, so it could be set up and then performed 10 minutes afterwards and not only 10 seconds afterwards.

The Slowest Pass in the World - Jonah Pass

I have to praise you for some nice thinking, but this version is much more angle sensitive than a swiftly done pass, which is practically angle-proof. So, interesting, but not really useful compared to the classic version.
