    Theory 11 Heckler?

Well, in CC2 she really wasn't a heckler...she just saw something she wasn't supposed to see and blurted it out.

    To all magicians/graphic designers...

    LOL! That made me laugh.

    Sean Fields - Northbound

It's funny. A couple years ago, I came up with this exact same method on my own. I asked around and then found out that my method for ring to necklace was Northbound. That was quite a disappointing feeling =(.

    Mark Mauricio: Magician from Hawaii

Mark Allen (as the locals call him) is a really cool guy. I've met him a couple times but I've never seen him perform. He studied under Curtis Kam while Curtis was still doing the Magic in Paradise show at the Hale Koa hotel which is the show that Mark is now doing.

The Ultimate Tool (try not to drool)

Last time I saw them they were at about $104.

Who has been most influencial to your magic routine?

The magician who really taught me how to perform is a man named Bobby Acoba. He's a bartender who does magic in a bar at the Ala Moana hotel in Hawaii. This guy can take the simplest piece of magic and make it the most amazing thing that you've ever seen.

    The Self Tying Shoelace

Does anyone use any of the other variations of STS out there? Like Paul Harris' no gimmick version that he released through linking laces or the Animated Shoelaces from Precision Magic?

    Most difficult card fan?

The pressure fan was actually the first fan I learned. I'd have to say the Carnahan fan was the hardest for me.

    What we used to be

Wow, you knew Blackstone Jr? That's freakin awesome! That was a good read Curtis. I really wish that magic was the way it was back in the day because it was more respected (and probably much more impressive to watch) back then.

    Guardian Problem Solved

Wow, what a small freakin world. I just shot you a PM. And Jon, are you in the Orlando area? Maybe we can all do a huge jam session one day. Sorry to hijack the thread...anyway yeah...Guardians...awesome lol.

    1-on-1 Section -- NOW LIVE

Agreed, though it would be nice to have a video companion for the effects he teaches so that you can follow along with the book. I think I'll pass though. By the way, Totally Out of Control is probably the best thing I've bought in the three years I've been doing magic.

    Guardian Problem Solved

What the heck are you doing here in Florida? Did you move down here? Anyway, my Guardians recently started to clump for a little bit. Right now they're resting in a Porper clip, which is what every magician should have when carrying their cards around. On a side note, where in Florida are...

    Is Distortion hard to do?

The gimmick takes some time to get used to. When I took it out of the package I was like , so I definitely recommend watching the DVD before handling the gimmick.

Your worst screw-ups - share your stories here!

Oh man, I always love hearing screw up stories because we all know that it's bound to happen to each and every one of us. I would also like to see how all of you were able to recover from the screw up, that way we can all learn about how to handle a screwed up performance. Last week I went...

Review for Distortion and the Guardian deck

What's up everyone? This is my first review for T11. First of all, I would like to comment on the packaging. I did the cheap shipping and what I got in the mail was a box filled with the packaging popcorn stuff and the DVD, gimmick, and cards at the bottom. For $5 I was really impressed...

First One To Get My Package

Where did the package come from? Because if it came from South Carolina then mine might be in today.

Horror stories by lots of famous magicians!

HA! My favorite ones were Curtis', Dan's, and Simon's. I actually know Bobby from Curtis' story. He's an amazing bar magician. If any of you go to Honolulu, check out the Ala Moana hotel. There's a bar on the 36th floor called Aaron's and that's where Bobby works. Ask for Mr. Magic.

Hey, this is kind of my intro to coin magic.

I'm also a beginner in coin magic myself. So far I can recommed Cultural Exchange like Scott said. I can also recommend David Roth's Expert Coin Magic Made Easy three volume DVD set.

    Panic

So to clarify, the way the gimmick was made means it's only made for the kings, correct?
