On iMovie I seem to remember that all the special effects were in one of the tabs in the bar with sound effects etc. Right beneath the window where all the clips pop up. Hope that made some sense. I s'pose it depends on what version you have though, as Dee said.

I agree with Ineski. If you want to memorize a deck, spend a little longer and do it properly. I constantly recommend Derren Brown's Tricks of the Mind book to anybody interested in this, he has a very good section on memory. As well as being a brilliant book.

I wouldn't recommend trying to print onto cards, it doesn't work at all well from my experience. I haven't had much success with erasing pips either but have spent less time on that. You can try if you want, though, and if it works, kudos to you. I just wouldn't suggest it.

In this circumstance, I wouldn't try and go with many really visual 'WTF' tricks, I'd much rather go with 2 or maybe 3 slower tricks that're completely impossible (hope you know what I mean, stuff like Derren Brown style). There's my opinion.
