Aside from the obvious work needed on the "move", I would say you really need to focus on patter. If I saw you performing at like a fair or something, that's the type of thing I'd just keep on walking on by. There's no hook, the patter is repetitive and boring, and it just doesn't look thought...

I suggest looking in some older books, introductory books, even kids books. You'll find tricks with sugar packets, straws, etc. Perfect for when you go out somewhere to eat. :)

Are you able to switch the deck over to your right hand halfway through the effect? If not, can you modify the effect to where it's possible to do so?

I just wanted to mention that the Finn Jon and Yigal DVDs are great. I have both those, and the GGTL, and while I can't really say I prefer either over the other (both sets contain invaluable information), I would like to mention that the Finn Jon/Yigal DVDs really changed my outlook on Loops...

I prefer parlor...so I guess I'll choose both? Stage, parlor, and close-up are all great, though. They're all a different experience, each one rewarding in their own way. :)

Or just spray the back of your hand with a deodorant spray before you go out...the scent should last quite a while. Axe is a pretty popular body spray, and it even has a tiny spray can for when you're on the go (so you don't have to spray your hand before you leave; you can do it on the fly)...

There is a card link effect in the Art of Astonishment series, as well as in the UltraGaff. Try looking those up, see if they're what you're looking for. :)

While I enjoy the reviews, it would make a lot more sense to contain these all in a single thread, since they're all about the True Astonishments box set. Still, it's nice to hear your thoughts. I already own the TA set, but it's always nice to hear others' opinions. :)
