    Roadrunner Cull

What would you like to know about the Roadrunner DVD? The teaching is very good. It teaches single as well as multiple card culling, and gives you a variety of contexts in which you can use the cull - culligula being a standout.

    Loops

It's probably worth looking into the Mesika DVDs to get a sense of what you're meant to be doing, at least until you get to the stage where you can do it yourself.

    The GOAT change?

It takes a long time to master properly 100%. But if you do get it to that stage, it's yeah sure practical.

I would go with option E, three Vernon books. But that's just me. What does Vernon know anyway?

You know nothing until you've read this!

Just to clarify, I can confirm that that was indeed what she said (yes, to me, Doug :P). Oooooh.

    Powerword: Fall by Matt Sconce

Weeeell. You don't actually have magical powers buddy. If all the ad copies around the world said what they used, or even that it uses anything at all, it wouldn't be a very good ad anyway, but there'd be a lot more digging around for methods. Everyone always seems to wish it was perfectly clean...

    True Astonishment Tricks?

It's because people nowadays are so trick-orientated. All they want to know about is the tricks, how easy they are, whether they're impromptu, and whether they're "hard-hitting". Few people care about astonishment. They just want to know whether they'll get "Oh my God" screams.

You know nothing until you've read this!

Damn, that's long. Just finished it now, it's brilliant, well worth the time to read it.

    mentalism card trick (sort of)

Hey.. Uhh, before I post anything, I'm just checking that you're looking for advice yeah? There's definitely some stuff that can be improved though it looks nice.

    I Would Do It Forever!

    That's what she said.

    Collateral or Dangerous

Meh... You can do better than both d+M... Try a book, for starters... But if all you care about are how good and impromptu the tricks are, both should fit well. You will have to put in work yourself either way, though.

    Some Questions - Need Advice

Card Control can be found quite cheaply in a lot of places so have a look for that. Essentially breaking in a deck is wearing out the cards a bit. Not enough to make them sticky or unusable, just a little worn, and not quite so new out of the box, where they can be stiff and slippery. I didn't...

    Applying D'lites?

Have you seen the YouTube video of Jason Latimer's laser show? Probably the best application of D'Lites I've ever seen. Obviously, it's probably impractical for you personally to emulate something of that scale; but hopefully it gives you some ideas anyway.

    Some Questions - Need Advice

Hey man, ok let's see if we can get some answers happening... I think I understand what you mean, but correct me if I'm wrong. 1. The problem with habits is that they're actually hard to un-learn and get rid of. Honestly, something like this will just take time. Make sure you really focus...

    Royal Road DVD Set.

The DVD set is, material wise, a fantastic addition to pretty much one of the most respected, oldest and best introductions to magic available. That said, I don't blame you for finding the guy dry. Do try to look past it though because it really is one of the best ways to start in magic out...

    Sad Newbie

Eh well, stuff happens I guess. Sometimes people are just like that. In time you'll learn how to deal with people like that - the moment someone starts burning my hands and just refuses to look up while I talk to them, I put the deck aside and perform a sleightless mindreading effect or...

    Obtaining a duplicate signature

If you have a card with smudged ink that resembles their signature, you can get them to sign one card, switch, pretend it got smudged and ask them to sign another. It's a bit dodgy, but it might work with some streamlining.
