E sells the thumbtip ones (you have to read their product page, possibly even a disclaimer, to figure that out though--the picture shows a different type of gimmick than what they sell). I wouldn't suggest those ones. I'm actually looking for a Swami gimmick myself; I'm looking for the one...

Works for Canada, too. It'll be 11pm here, as well, since it's EST. On the West they'll be behind by 3 hours, so 8pm for them, and upwards of a half hour to an hour ahead on the East coast of Canada. All in all, it works. :)

I like the idea, but not the date. Gunna be spending New Years with my girlfriend and a lot of alcoholic beverages (it wouldn't be New Years if we spent it any other way :P)...so I prolly won't want to, or even remember to, log on here at that time. I'm open for another date and time, though. :)

Thanks for taking the time to give us an update on what's happening! :) Although, it's still weird that it works for some, but not all, of us. One would think a site that is down wouldn't work for anyone. o_O Oh well, it'll be good to go for everyone soon anyway, so all is well. :)

Well, serious isn't necessarily "disturbing", as you seem to imply. It could also be mysterious (ie. Blaine). My brother tends to go a more serious route, and he gets gigs just fine (and when he gets an award show type of gig, or something else that happens annually, he is usually invited...
