    Cost for Show/Stroll

Brad knows what he is talking about and it is good advice but I would do at least $50 for the strolling and $75-100 for the hour show. I charge $75-100 for strolling per hour and $125-$150 for private party shows / corporate...etc. That is with 8 years of magic experience and only 1 year of...

Testor's Dull Cote Spray from a hobby shop will do the same trick as will certain brands of hair spray.

    Great effect for 15-25 persons?

My entire close up routine is set up to do just that. I perform it on a table with a very nice close up pad, sort of like Parlour style only I allow the people to sit basically right up on top of me. My effects are: Ellusionist - wiregrams Sloppy Triumph Cups and Balls Spongeballs...

Good example, of a good video.

What type of software does a good film like that require? Obviously it takes lots of practice and skill to edit clips like that but what type of software would I buy to make videos of that caliber? I have used iMovie on a MacBook and Pinnacle on a PC but I'm guess that is quite a step...

    Infinity Bend

I thought it was ok but like the others have mentioned, the coin switch was not very good. With some work I'm sure it will be a good piece. I am not a coin guy at all so I cannot give you any pointers. Sorry. Keep practicing and showing it to other magicians live so they can give you feedback.

    Rubber Bands

I"m pretty sure the Banding Around DVD is mostly impromptu. I just started watching it today and the first two sleights are gimmickless...I know...that sounds obvious. My impromptu rubber band set is sweet. I open with crazy man handcuffs. Then go into rubber band through the thumb...

    Close-up... and card trouble.

Rubber band magic...kills people. Wear'em on your wrist. STARGAZER effect with rubber band. CMH Buy a nicer looking hot rod and do a hot rod routine. Quadraflex bill that turns into mismade dollar. Great reactions. Free Will is an excellent little mentalism piece that uses 3 wooden...

    Restaurant Gig

Chris, I know you're trying to be a nice guy and all but I would think that you should at least be able to do 40 an hour. Just food for thought. A lot of guys I know charge between 50-70 an hour so I think at 40 you'd still be o.k. But...if they are completely against that....I understand...

    Revealing Magic To Other Magicians

Charlie, I sometimes share secrets with other magicians who I am good friends with as they in turn will teach me a few tips and tricks as well. Think about what IBM rings are for. If everyone just sat at the meetings and didn't talk, share ideas, give constructive criticism, the meetings would...
