Hey mate, If you're totally new to magic, Royal Road to Card Magic or the Card College series are simply the best way to start - there is no comparison with anything else.

The best way to respect the magic community is to be professional about putting out effects and making sure they're not crap. Regardless of who you are, your age, what your goals are: if you put out a product, it must be professional - not wanting to be professional is not an excuse for poor work.

Yeah it does. Scratch a little off with a coin and try sticking a card to the ceiling, it should work fine without too much wax.

Card Control is a great book, I learned a lot from it, and it's very cheap.

YouTube has certain labels as "partners" - and software which monitors videos for usage of said songs, and policies depending on company policy. At least, that's what I surmised from my experience.
