    What is real magic?

Real magic, is whatever the spectators decide what is real magic, because their perceptions judgments and considerations are the only ones which are important when analysing the effect of magic.

    It'd be wasted on you. j/k :P

    What is your favorite trick(s)?

Yeah, exactly. I don't copy it exactly but I do quite like that theme of producing a rose for a sweetheart. I generally find my table routines and many mentalism effects which cannot be performed on the street far more interesting than "street magic" anyway, so yeah. Good times ^^

    The Daniel Garcia Project

I dunno, what country do you live in? I don't know why you'd bother to post if you're only going to flame someone without bothering to explain why. "z0mg he suxX0rz" doesn't help anyone.

    Topit

Incidentally, if you're interested in topits, Jay Scott Berry is also another name to check out - His and Ammar's topits are different and are pretty much considered the two main/best topits around.

    Best Psychological Force

Oh, they're not the droids we're looking for, damn.

    Why are we clones?

I would like to think not, but I myself am curious why you'd suggest such a thing? Have you seen me perform, or do you know me to know my traits? Seems like something of an unprovoked suggestive attack on me here. But seriously... What? I don't even know where that came from, let alone why...

    What is your favorite trick(s)?

I wouldn't perform it for romantic purposes per se - not if I was wooing someone... I mean it may have been a childhood sweetheart but the last thing a prospective girlfriend wants to know about is someone you used to like... If there's enough interest I'd just perform it as something that goes...

    What change is this?

A tip given to me: Practice with a 6 of any suit - fingers line up with the row of 3 pips closest to the same edge as the hand you're using (right line of pips for right hand). After that, it's just a knack.

    Best Psychological Force

Psychological forces are all about the performer. Nothing doesn't fail, and if you're looking for stuff that doesn't fail, you have the wrong attitude for mentalism. The only way to succeed in a psychological force is for you to become proficient in performing it. The best way to practice is...

    G.O.A.T. Change Performance

JP - Yeah that's fair enough, it's a very good point. Sean - LOL. Morgician - Thanks for the support and kind words, very true. spades - I don't film my best material; regardless, I'm nothing extraordinary as you'll realise from the videos, but I do love performance theory and stuff like that...

    Recommend Cards

eBay is always good. Different cards suit different people I guess, so it's hard to say. At some point though it's worth checking out a number of different cards, get one of each or something whenever you can. The most recommended ones, and which are all worth at least trying out in my opinion...

    Why are we clones?

Without reading the other posts: Because it's quicker to be a copy, and most people aren't passionate enough about magic to care to work themselves.

    Yesterday Was Cool In Magic

Pre-orders for True Astonishments started a long time ago. This is simply one more sad piece of evidence that the knowledge of magic of the average young magician today is limited to Ellusionist and Theory11. To their great detriment.

One thing I'd like to see more magic DVD's do.

To be honest, I think that the fact that it is not considered a necessity is rather shameful. Whatever happened to the good days of magic, where only experienced magicians put out material - and when the ad copy said, "from personal repertoire", it actually meant something? It meant a lifetime...

    Nail Polish?

Personally I think that you should wear whatever you like and whatever you're comfortable wearing. If you like it, don't worry about what others think. There is one exception however. For the purposes of magic, you're goal is to amaze people. Now, depending on your image, and the type of person...
