    Should I quit Cardistry?

Like punching Casey Donovan. *shudder* (Joke for the Aussies :P)

    G.O.A.T. Change Performance

Haha. Naw I understand that. I'll try and illustrate a diagram or two to add to what I said before... 1. How impressed are you by the G.O.A.T Change? a) Laymen 1 |----------------|--------| 10 b) Magicians 1 |------------------------|| 10 2. How impressed are you by the Erdnase Change? a)...

    What classifies as Underground?

    You spelled enlightenment right :P

    I am sick of YouTube...

Well he's kinda just explained it dude :P Sam, the only thing I can really suggest is wait a little while. I know it's not ideal or what you wanna hear but yeah... I came up with that copyright problem recently too - but fortunately my message read that the copyright holders were happy for this...

    You are not an artist!

The assumption Steerpike makes of course is that people care enough about their egos so as to get somewhat riled up concerning what someone on the other side of the world and over the internet thinks.

    Question about cardistry

Incidentally, I just wanted to put down a recent thought I had. Some people criticise cardistry/XCM for being "magical masturbation". ...What's wrong with masturbation - or pleasure, for that matter? If you like it, you like it, and that's no reason to criticise someone for liking it.

    What classifies as Underground?

What then is the difference between underground and unknown?

That's the method I use, yes.

    NEW TRICK called LOCO

The weakness being that you can't show the second card of course - it feels more like a production rather than a transposition. Meh.. It's well performed but I think there are better ways to do it, even without dupes.

    Tivo 3.0

Well, you already know it's a bad performance... So yeah... Not sure what you expect us to say lol. It wasn't performed very well, but it was a nice idea?

    Clipshift angles...

Trust your practice, and trust that it's not the angles that are important, it's how you manage them.

    G.O.A.T. Change Performance

I feel like it's the clipshift all over again. The next thing that everyone wants to master because it'll be the decider of "whether you're a good magician or not" for the new generation of magic, magic performed not for the spectator but for the magician. IMO stick with an Erdnase. This comment...

    Advice on books

Seraph... Firstly, King is right, sooner or later you'll have to read both, but with that said, I think that Royal Road should be the first. It's intended as a beginner book, firstly, and it's intended to give everyone a very solid grounding in magic. Whilst Strong Magic is essential also, you...

    Original Trick : Konceptual-X

To be perfectly honest, the video looked very amateur, and it doesn't really do justice to the effect - then again I don't think the effect has been developed long enough or is good enough to be sold.

    Amazing Card Magic

Arnaud Chevrier's version is technically more demanding, although it's simpler in its own way. Ineski's is great because he put his own kicker ending. Both do justice to Ascanio imo.

    Underground?

So to classify someone as underground, they must not be known to the general public? That's ridiculous. That's like saying Dai Vernon is underground. People that don't do magic don't know who Dai Vernon is. They all say "Who is Dai Vernon?" By your definition, Dai Vernon is underground, LOL.

    Aging Cards

I guess the thickening would also have to do with moisture and dirt getting onto/into the card - the moisture would make the cardboard expand probably.
