    Where Are Your Morals Now?

I can just feel magic moving forward in this thread, which is without a doubt on-topic.

    Skin by Benjamin Earl

Well obviously there's a bent coin, but aside from that, I don't think there's anything involved. No strange "heat devices" or such.

    Sensitivity

I don't think there's a set answer to that. Magic that is smooth can be extremely beautiful, but having rougher actions can make it seem more "real." Personally I prefer more elegant actions, since as a guy with "magic powers" why would anything get in my way? All my actions should be without...

    Examinable Bill changes!

Bill change with a thumbtip. It's a good one, and can be found on many of Sankey's tapes.

    Without Performing?

You could perform stage. The speaking is significantly less. And bah, the Buck brothers don't perform proffesionally. They just release products and design stuff. Consulting is thinking up ideas for big name magicians. But these are "magic-related" jobs. I don't think you can be a...

    Retention Vanish

ahaa, I actually learned mine from silver dream. The one of the David Roth tapes is... different. I actually like the silver dream one more, since when working with silver dollars, the edge grip that the clip flows smoothly into is easier than the classic palm that the Roth vanish goes into.

    13 steps

Actually the 14th step to mentalism book "the gift" is sold on Paul Brook's site. I don't know where you got the idea that it's rare. Not recommended for somebody who just got 13 steps. After you read the book and do some mentalism, the stationary store will be your heaven. So many notebooks...

    Sick: by Ponta the Smith

AHAHAHAHAHHAAH! I literally laughed out loud as I read the review, from happiness. PONTA THE SMITH released a Dvd? And here there are people who think he's fake! That he achieves his smoothness and incredibility through clever video editing! I think this is what a lot of people have been waiting...

    Retention Vanish

I meant his retention. the retention of vision was nice, but the hand that placed was unnatural. Sorry for the awkward wording.

    Retention Vanish

The retention is nice, but it's not too natural. It doesn't feel like you casually put a coin into the other hand, since the "putting" hand doesn't relax after the "put."

    Watch?

    Definately coincedence.

    Retention Vanish

Believe the coin is in your hand- applies with all vanishes. And don't always practice in front of a mirror- you may grow accustomed to seeing the vanish happen in the mirror, but you might forget what it looks like to execute it from the "magicians" poing of view, making it harder in actual...

    Why Buy Tricks?

]I'm not suggesting that you don't buy tricks, I'm just saying that perhaps you buy them to learn the method, but not to perform. Then, when you have an idea, you have a bunch of "methods" to apply to make that dream a reality. (dunno how to quote, but that was an idea I expressed on the first...

    Why Buy Tricks?

But your audience is different every time, no? So it wouldn't matter that you only had 3 or 5 tricks, since you perform for a different audience at each show. I'm not suggesting that you don't buy tricks, I'm just saying that perhaps you buy them to learn the method, but not to perform. Then...

    Why Buy Tricks?

Why would a magician buy tricks? In the Books of Wonder, the author makes the point that as "artists," we would be decreasing the artistic status of our work if we performed tricks that were devised by others- we become copyists, rather than painters. When all your material is individual, you...

    Any Card at Any Number

You're probably right about Berglas, but since the conditions are, -Deck is in full view entire time -The magician never touches the cards AT ALL (no sleights) -The card and number are free choices (no forces, psychological or otherwhise) -The deck is normal conventional thinking would...

But the version David Berglas performs is perfect. The book isn't giving you all the information...

    More of my thoughts!

The spectators won't actually feel anything, but if you use suggestion you can make them think they felt something. Piracy? Skip it. As far as magic products go, you don't need ANYTHING so bad that you'd need to steal it. Most people already have enough magic, and are just looking for something...
