Throw away the top two cards (the advertisements), and store the bottom two cards (the jokers). I then do a thumb fan, some false shuffles and flourishes, and then soak them in water for about 20 minutes. I find that it helps to keep the cards from overdrying. ;)

www.hocus-pocus.com They're based near my house, and have great service. I'd recommend getting a pad from them (just don't get the Shoot Ogawa pad...). You can get a normal or large-sized pad, the most expensive non Shoot-Ogawa is, I believe, rather cheap.

DO NOT GET ANOTHER DVD. Don't waste your or your parents' money. As Captain Jack Sparrow said, learn ALL of the flourishes from those DVDs, and THEN consider buying another one (although, after you've learnt all of those flourishes, i'm sure you'll be making your own up). Don't be wasteful, Ben
