Not neccessarily a story. Just a theme or motif that brings it all together. For example, suppose you're doing a mentalism routine. Are you psychokinetic? Are you an expert in reading non-verbal communication? Non-contact Hellstromism? Super memory?

I would go with that. 5 days isn't nearly enough time to build up a working routine.
