    Prophet FAQ's

Anyone who feels like answering these, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, well, ok then. What price range are we talking about here? Is it impromptu (I'm just asking)? Does it require a gimmick? If so, can you make it yourself or does it come with the package? Do you have to forfeit...

I'm not sure precisely what to say. Maybe I'll explain what's appealing to me about learning magic... I love fooling others, but I also love being fooled. There's something about that moment of astonishment that I love to feel. For me, magic is something that I want to experience as much...

Magic article in the New Yorker

Check out the March 17 issue of the New Yorker. There is a really great article on magic. Daniel Garcia is briefly quoted, and there is info on Blaine's new stunt, called "Blaine's Wake." And Jamy Ian Swiss is quoted a lot. Pick it up at your local newsstand. I'm serious. Do it now...

    Tivo 2.0 Advice?

Practice a lot in front of a mirror, then, when you've got the angles down, practice a lot in front of a wall, so you're not used to looking at yourself. Check back with the mirror every now and then to see how your angles are and so it won't get lonely.

    Moleskines

Oh man, don't even get me started. I love these things. I've got one where I keep all my ideas for tricks, different methods, etc. They're perfect. The size, weight, the quality of the paper. It's as if they were made for magic. Everyone owes it to them self to get one. They're kind of...

There once was a lad named Chris Kenner Who did tricks every now and again (er). He did some lame magic (It really was tragic) And charged everybody a tenner. There it is. I'm no poet. CK is the man. I shouldn't pick on him.
