Eh, I'm not too interested. Dangerous looks ok, but I don't want it if it has too much flourishing on it. I'd love to have a great flourishing video someday, but it's just not my thing; I found that out the hard way. So for now, I'll stick to purely magic.

I wish I could participate on Saturday. But, unfortunately, I'll be watching Joel perform and hanging out with him at California Magic while this is going on. Eh, I'd much rather be doing that than sitting at my computer, anyway. P.S. For all those people out there who don't know sarcasm...

Even Joel says the extra sleights aren't necessary. They sure are perty, though. :D

Not for a professional, but if these two effects are effects that you have the presentation "mastered", then go for it and gradually learn more. It's better to learn a few at a time and really get them down (the sleights and the presentatin) than learn a whole bunch of sleights/effects at one...

Another piece of advice is instead of working on extremely hard sleights to fool fellow magicians with, spend that time working on your presentation. Read a few of my thoughts on simplicity and presentation here.

I've seen the penny thing used before, but with some other example (it was in a magic book!). Good example, though! I enjoyed reading, but it didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know.

To me, simple= awesome. Why? Gives me plenty of time to spend rehearsing my presentation and fine tuning it instead of practicing knuckle-busting sleights. It seems many people learn difficult tricks just to impress other magicians; this is not the case for me. A compliment on my performance...

Sue? Technically you could, but it's not worth it. And, at least here in America, teachers can and would get away with that. If you're disrupting the class, which she could easily say you were, you have no "case". Sorry, but it's life. It's pieces of cardboard... you'll lose bigger things...

Not very smart to buy them and then ask what people think about them. This time, though, you have nothing to worry about; they're great cards. You can search my review and check it out if you need more "proof".
