Well what type of design are you looking for? If you give us no information other than you want a custom design, we don't know whether you want a deck with a tribal design and blood on it or cute puppies and kittens.
I perform with the notion that my audience doesn't believe in the classical sense of magic (as in abracadabra-wizards-can-just-wave-a-wand-and-things-will-happen magic) but rather they have the basic idea that it's mainly sleight of hand or gimmicks and the such (thanks to TV and the internet)...
Let us know how the baking soda thing works out. If it has good results, I may try it for myself! The freezer thing works for a while (like a few hours) but then it goes back to how it was.
You can't download his music unless (s)he (:p) puts it out for a contest or something. Then you get like a one or two minute clip for free.

Money is just bits of metal and pieces of paper. Why do people want it? Because it has VALUE. Would you pay $3 for a legitimate deck of Bicycle cards or $0.50 for a deck of fake, unfannable "Bicycle" cards? You would pay the extra $2.50 for that legitimate...
In the meantime (namely, the bad economy time) why not go through the material you already have? I'm sure you have some books with effects you haven't tried out yet. Try something new.
Well you didn't specify how large a crowd but here goes...
Do tricks such as Invisible Palm, Travelers (aka card to pocket) and collectors. These will play well for any audience (except huge stage - unless you have a camera with a projector). Throw in Angle Zero in there too.

What type of environment is it going to be? (loud music, quiet, moderate, etc.)
