Yes. You don't necessarily have to use the fan to get the card in the right "position". But fans are awesome, so I'll probably stick to that way most of the time.

That's quite possibly the funniest thing I have heard in a while. It is not a rip-off at all. Not even in the slightest. With a Double Undercut, can the spectator shuffle the cards as much as they desire after the card has been replaced, and you instantly regain control? Didn't think so.

I'm just trying to be helpful here, but for all of you guessing 10,000 and upwards... that's not possible. If the cards were "liquified", and occupied every space (no air between cards occupying space), then you could still only fit about 10,000 cards in there. Sorry, but it's just not...

I believe that you mean height, not lenth. Those would be awfully tiny cards if they were only a tenth of an inch long.

1on1s are expensive for single effects, when ou could buy a book like Royal Road to Card Magic, and get tons of effects for $10. I don't mind paying the money at all, because I think the 1on1s are great, but they are a bit expensive. I'm not complaining, though; theory11 is a business and...

If you can afford it, Card College. If you can't, Royal Road to Card Magic. Then move up to some more advanced stuff like Pyrotechnic Pasteboards and/or Card Stunts. By the way, I have reviews for Royal Road to Card Magic, Pyrotechnic Pasteboards, and Card Stunts if you'd like to check them out.

Basically the only prerequisite to this effect is being able to fan. And it doesn't have to be a perfect fan, either.
