    Centurions vs. Guardians

Wouldn't it be smarter to have a poll to vote in? I've only tried Guardians so I can't give a proper comparison.

    Impromptu, Set-up, and Gimmicks

People have different perceptions about impromptu and setup but I see where you're going. There's a hazy line between them. Just do whatever suits you. Cheers, Shanku

If you could ask three questions to a working TV magician?

    1. How many effects do you have per set and and how many sets do you have? 2. How long does each set go for? 3. Do you know my friend Jimmy? Cheers, Shanku

Change by d+M - When is it coming out?

Good for you!!! Are you going to make a dark, grainy, black and white video of it and post it on YouTube? Please do!!! Haha, just joking. :p Cheers, Shanku PS. Change will be released in a DVD (or set of notes?) called "CHANGE" in 2009 and it will feature 6 colour changes in total.

    The Next 1-on-1...

Well no one really refers to themselves in the third person unless they're making a website about themselves and want it to look like their "agent" made the site... So basically I doubt it's Brian Tudor... As for the next 1on1, It'll most likely be an updated version of a trick from TOOC...

    Card tricks for 50 spectators

Check out "Emotional Intelligence" by Luke Jermay and "Clutch" by Oz Pearlman over at Penguin Magic. They work for both close up and stage.

    Flourish Cards

Tally Hos are great and so are Aladdin 1001 Smooth Finish. Don't get the Aladdin 1002 Air Cushion Finish as they are not very good, I've heard.

    Lu Chen's card trick...

Now let me point out a few reasons why you should have not bothered posting at all: 1) It's an open discussion forum about magic. You can post whatever you like as long as it is within the rules and is on topic. 2) The OP posted the link so he/she could: a. share the magic b. listen to what...

    Impromptu or Gimmicked Rising Card

There's a 1on1 here by Chris Kenner called "Schwing!" and it's pretty good. You just have to get used to it.

    Filler effects?

Here's a nice impromptu, no table routine: Queens by Dan and Dave Collectors by Benjamin Earl (using the queens from previous effect) Catalyst by Peter Harrison Mambo No. 5 by Oz Pearlman Ambitious Card Routine (make your own) Basically what I was going for was something impromptu and...

    Made for Girls

Basically all the tricks on "Firestarters" by Jay Sankey are for girls. I don't have the DVD (and I'll probably never get it) so I don't know much about it.

Daniel Madison vs. The Devils Advocate

I know this is way off topic but all this time I thought your name was just Eugene and you put "Soh" particularly for the reason of it being the acronym for sleight of hand. Oh well. Anyway, to add something "on-topic", I agree with your views on the "feel" of the separately produced videos.

    Daniel Madison - REAL Magic

Daniel was born in the late 70's (I won't tell the exact as Daniel may not want it posted) so I doubt a name statistic from 2007 would have anything to do with him. If it was in the year he was born then yeah, that may be a coincidence... Cheers, Shanku PS. Those who have the CardCheat...

    Peter Duffie?

Peter, which books from Mr. Duffie would you highly recommend? I'm thinking of looking into his material as I've heard good things about them. Any specific book? I like the minimal setup, walkaround card magic. Cheers, Shanku
