    Dangerous Or Trilogy?

If you want stuff you will actually use in the real world then get Dangerous, I don't find many of the effects on The Trilogy to be very practical. The only effects I frequently use are Collectors and Hoffzy Osbourne. A lot of the other effects can only be performed for 1 or 2 people. The...

    Doublelift_pirouette

I don't really agree with this, some magicians seem to think that a flourishy double is better as spectators don't believe a double could be thrown in the air. However, in my opinion this logic is very flawed. Spectators do not naturally assume that a card is a double, they will assume it is a...

    When Asked?

I try and politely tell people this, you should make it clear to people that a magic performance is on your terms not theirs.

    Tivo 2.0 Review

It can be surprisingly easy to forget which card goes in the centre, i've actually forgotten myself before. To be honest I don't really like Tivo 2 at all, I find it to be far more trouble than it's worth. The change is quite difficult and has bad angles. I think Tivo 1 is far better.

Hey just want some advice about my 1st vid.

I don't really agree with the way you define 'underground', underground is defined by the magic community not by where it is performed. Performing well known, widely available flourishes in a different country doesn't make them underground. Of couse Black and white by itself is not original...

    The Types of Spectators

Are they serious? I've had various people walk off saying something like 'OMG your satan', of course they don't genuinley believe it, they just say it as a joke. I didn't think we had too many idiots who actually believe it.

    Erdnase Shift

I've heard that the Wesley James set is terrible, apparently he doesn't perform the moves properly and sometimes teaches his own 'variations' that are worse than the original moves. Allan Ackerman is releasing a set of DVD's on Expert at the Card Table which should be a lot better, I think...

    Don't Miss A Trick

I missed this, i'll check it out on Iplayer tommorow. Here's the description from a TV guide, it appears it was on BBC1 not BBC3. It seems fairly pointless, as it's a one off it's nothing we need to worry about but it still sounds like a stupid idea. I expected better from Paul Wilson...

    Dan and Dave Customer Support

Dan and Dave's customer support isn't up to the standard of E/T11 but this is hardly surprising as there's only 2 of them. They have better things to do than sit at their computer all day in case somebody emails them. T11 support is exceptional, I got a reply very quickly and they were very...

    The Weekly Debate: Question #5...

I like Aaron Fisher, Lee Asher, Dan and Dave and Daniel Madison equally, the other artists are all equally talented but I just like these as I find their material the most useful (although I only have a couple of things from Lee and Aaron but I plan to buy a lot more soon) I really don't see...

    The Types of Spectators

Fortunatley we don't really get the Religious type in the UK, I find it quite hard to imagine anyone being stupid enough to think magic is 'demonic' I think i've encountered all of them at some point though most people seem to fall into combinations of Easy target/ Interested usually with...

    Best E deck?

Anyone who says 'LOL none they suk' has obviously never used the E decks and is just trying to look cool. Regardless of if you like E or not they have some great decks. I don't really like using them in live performances but my favourite is the Ghost deck, it spreads and fans perfectly and...

    Spread Pass by Chad Nelson

I agree, it's a great move. I love Chad Nelson's magic because it's visual but still natural.

    White Cents Compared

I'm fairly sure they're on exactly the same stock as the regular Centurions and Guardians. T11 have never made any claims about them having a different stock or finish. Also, I believe creating a new finish is a time consuming process and needs a lot of testing, I seriously doubt they would do...

    Help me improve

I watched a couple of your videos and here's what I think. Your sleight of hand seems fine but I think you could work on your presentation. You need to slow down a bit. e.g. in the biddle trick video it's like 'OK pick a card watch i'll lose your card, i know where it is etc. It's too fast...

Why no new 1-on-1's for 2 weeks?

Jonathan Bayme said they are currently filming a new set of 1 on 1's which aren't ready yet. There will probably be a new one next week.

    Custom Printed Playing Cards

I thought SorenErich's post was referring to the custom decks available for $20 each, the same link as in your post. I thought nobody had mentioned the larger quantities available at a lower price (100+). I guess I didn't read the link correctly, get over it.

    Custom Printed Playing Cards

You can get them from the USPCC, although the minimum is 100 decks, these will be printed on Bicycle stock. You can also get them printed individually, although it would probably be cheaper to just get 100 (unless you don't want many decks). http://www.usplayingcard.com/uspccustom.html

Bluff Pass (WH) or Fan Control (JP)

I believe this is because you're looking at it from a magicians point of view. The spectator holds their card, they tell you to stop anywhere they like and put the card back themselves. This appears very fair to them as they could apparantely have the card replaced anywhere they want...

    Pass Problems

Hand size is not a problem, just rock the deck back slightly as you do the pass, this should cover the packet sticking out.
